Terms of use

Effective 2 September 2026. These terms describe the current visual-guide experience. A clinic selling or providing the service must publish contracting-party details and clinic-specific terms before launch.

This tool is not an emergency service, a diagnostic product, medical advice, a treatment recommendation, a treatment plan or a prediction of results.

Permitted use

Automated outputs

Tooth-region labels, FDI references, colour descriptions and visible proportions can be incomplete or wrong. FDI labels are approximate location references. Technical values are not validated clinical measurements. A dentist must examine the person independently.

Illustrations

Photo-based and AI images are cosmetic illustrations. They may be unrealistic or unachievable and must not be presented as before-and-after evidence, a promised result or a substitute for informed consent about treatment.

Availability

Automated mapping and image generation depend on third-party services and may fail, be delayed or return incomplete output. Do not rely on the service where delay or error could cause harm.

Clinic responsibilities

A clinic must verify its own regulatory position, privacy information, controller and processor roles, professional obligations, marketing claims and patient handoff process. It must give the link to the adult visitor and must not upload a photograph on that person's behalf. It must not change the stated purpose by using the output to diagnose, select treatment or promise an outcome.

If a visitor separately asks to send the visual guide and photograph, the clinic must handle those attachments under its own privacy information, access controls and retention rules.
